My Current Writing Project...

Currently I'm writing my first original story (one that's not a fanfiction ^_^), hopefully the first of several to eventually be published. =)

I'm not going give any of the gritty details on what it's about.
I'll just say that it's a fantasy story about a girl that by some unfortunate series of circumstances gets turned into a strange jungle creature.

So, basically what this means is until I publish this sucker (IF it ever gets published), there won't be any new written works from me.
At any rate, I don't think I'll be working on any more fanfiction from this point on.
Not that I didn't thoroughly enjoy writing my fanfiction. Far from it. I had a blast writing all that. XD
But I feel that now it's finally time for me to write something completely original. =)

Interesting! Know what, you should make copies of your work, characters, ect. and mail them to your own address. Never open the envelope, and you'll have a stamped date that can prove your characters belong to you, in case somebody tries to rob you of your art. I've already done this years ago for the book i'm currently still working on. And also for projects that i will do later down the road. My friend told me to do this, and he got the idea of doing this from his college proffesor, who was apparently knowledgable of trademarking and such. This is just a little way to patent your work. Now i'm sure that trademarking is a more complex issue than this, but it does legally verify by the stamped date of when your ideas came about, and should problems of people taking your characters arise, it can help back you up.
